OTP x East London Film Festival x STUSSY x VISIONARE
In conjunction with VISIONARE's and STUSSY UK, OTP will be showcasing artwork at the european premiere of 'DOWNTOWN CALLING' at the east london film festival.

In this documentary of the early 80s movement, we see the movers and shakers of this genre and listen to the minds behind one of the most innovative style of Art. We see Hip- Hop culture in action and travel to the South Bronx where most of it started. Discussing this new infusion of energy into the art work are dealers SIDNEY JANIS and TONY SHAFRAZI & artists CRASH, LADY PINK, FAB 5 FREDDIE, JEAN-MICHEL BASQUIAT, among others.
This seminal show, organized by DIEGO CORTEZ, features the work of many artists who shaped the direction of art that was to follow.
Included is the work of ROBERT MAPPLETHORPE, KEITH HARING, JEAN-MICHEL BASQUIAT, PUNK Magazine and GRAFFITI artists among others. Interviews are with artist KURT HOPPE and curator DIEGO CORTEZ.
